Bob Stolp of Ithaca, passed away Monday, January 11, 2010, at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA.

There will be no calling hours, however, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, January 16, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church, 48 Pulteney St. in Geneva.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculate Conception School in Ithaca or a Catholic School of one's choice.

Bob was born on December 7, 1945 in Geneva, the son of the late William K. and Ellen Welch Stolp. He graduated from Desales High School, Fordham University and received his Law Degree from the University of Miami in Florida. Admitted to the New York State Bar in 1973 and the Supreme Court of the United States in 1978, he has been the Administrator of the Tompkins County Assigned Counsel Program in addition to his own private law practice and was a member of the Tompkins County Bar Association.

Jeffery (Laura) Stolp of Arundel, Maine
Elaine (Douglas) Morrow of Geneva, NY
His Aunt, June Kuryla of Geneva, NY
Granddaughter, Alexandra Bourke
Many cousins and many friends from Ithaca and Tompkins County
Arrangements are being handled by the McGuigan Funeral Home.
